These Submission Terms apply when photographs, videos, portfolio links, female model information, creative works, project proposals or other materials are sent to The Sirene through a submission form, e-mail address or other channel specifically made available for submissions (“Submission”).

You may submit material only if you are at least 18 years old and legally entitled to make the Submission. If you act on behalf of a female model, photographer, artist, agency, producer or other rights holder, you confirm that you have authority to act on their behalf.

Every model depicted in a Submission must have been at least 18 years old when the submitted material was created. Do not submit material depicting anyone whose age you cannot reliably establish. The Sirene may require reasonable evidence of age and identity before publication or collaboration.

You must own the Submission or have all rights, licences and permissions necessary to submit it for review. Where identifiable people appear, you must have the permissions required for the intended submission and any proposed publication. You are responsible for ensuring that the Submission does not infringe copyright, privacy, personality, contractual or other rights of photographers, female models, artists, agencies, producers, location owners or other third parties.

Information supplied with a Submission must be truthful, accurate and not misleading. You must not misrepresent identity, age, authorship, ownership of rights, female model consent, agency status, the circumstances in which the material was produced or whether an image or video was materially generated or altered using artificial intelligence.

By sending a Submission, you grant The Sirene a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for the period reasonably necessary to receive, store, internally copy, technically process and display the material to authorised persons solely for editorial review, selection, communication, record-keeping and protection of legal rights. This review licence does not by itself authorise public publication, sale, commercial licensing or model representation.

If The Sirene selects a Submission for publication, the relevant publication and promotional rights must be agreed with the rights holder. Depending on the project, this may be done through an electronic acceptance, publication licence, model release, collaboration agreement or another written agreement. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, copyright remains with the copyright owner.

A Submission does not create a right to publication, a Cover, a Sirenefold, inclusion in Models, female model representation, booking, promotion, payment, expenses or future collaboration. Any compensation, representation, commercial terms or other benefits must be agreed separately.

Do not submit material that is unlawful; depicts or sexualises a person under 18; was produced or shared without the required consent; contains non-consensual intimate imagery; depicts genuine trafficking, coercion, sexual violence or exploitation; infringes copyright, privacy, personality or contractual rights; contains malicious code; or was obtained through unlawful access, hidden-camera recording or other unlawful means. The Sirene may reject, restrict or delete such material and may report suspected unlawful conduct where required or permitted by applicable law.

If a Submission has been generated, materially altered or composited using artificial intelligence or synthetic-media tools, you must disclose that fact before publication review. You may not submit a synthetic, manipulated or deepfake nude, sexual or intimate depiction of an identifiable real person without that person’s specific, informed and legally valid permission. The Sirene may reject AI-generated or materially manipulated content at its editorial discretion.

You may ask us to stop considering an unpublished Submission by contacting [email protected]. Withdrawal does not automatically revoke rights already granted under a separate agreement or require deletion of records that we are legally entitled or required to retain.
